Position Statement: 

The Revenue Accountant (Credit cards reconciliation) is responsible for providing Credit cards reconciliations and/or Income Audit service to hotels across the GCC that are supported by the UAE Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC).

Position Summary: 
•    Credit card reconciliations and reporting
•    Credit card related transactions to be reviewed with relevant reports and posting in financial system
•    Confirming all positions of revenue and compiling the Daily Income Audit Report

  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner, collaborating with hotel finance teams as needed.
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to credit card processing.
    • Preparing journal entries related to credit card transactions and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
    • Providing insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.
    • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.

•    Accounting knowledge, in particular Revenue Accounting
•    Systems knowledge, in particular Navision, OnQ/OA, Opera, MICROS and Excel

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High school graduate
    •    Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years as a Day/Income Auditor

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: University graduate and/or accounting qualification
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years as a Day Auditor or Income Auditor or Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Hotel experience would be preferable
