Description

You as the Hub Marketing and Sales Manager for High Voltage Products will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, KSA. You will be defining and implementing growth sales mission, vision, and strategy for the Hub with special focus on growing and developing the white spots (Markets/Customers/Segments) in line with the High Voltage BU strategy.

 

Your responsibilities  

  • Responsible for identifying, assessing, and creating market and growth plans for all areas in the Hub and particular for the growth areas or white spots. Driving and following up on BU or PG strategic initiatives especially the Strategic Growth initiatives. Setting up, driving, and developing an optimized Hub sales organization structure.
  • Responsible for achieving assigned demand and supply order targets. Responsible for achieving assigned portfolio and market mix targets. Implementing and following up on market plans for all areas in the Hub. Establishing sales targets and ensuring sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed. Proactively anticipating results and identifying gaps to take early remedial action and ensure the target achievement.
  • Identifying and developing opportunities with existing and potential new customers. Developing and implementing a general account plan for the Hub as well as specific account management plans for selected accounts. Building and developing strong relationships with customers. Responsible for follow up, analyzing and acting on the results of customer satisfaction in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Securing coordination of Hub sales activities. Working in close cooperation and full coordination with the Product Group Marketing and Sales Managers.
  • Leading and developing the Hub sales teams – defining their targets and following up. Coordinating the local Sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume, portfolio and market mix targets. Ensuring achievement of sales volume and portfolio mix targets for Hub and BU by setting appropriate price and margin for individual sales opportunities in line with BU or PG strategy.
  • Creating, cautiously, updating and communicating updated, qualitative market and competitive analysis.
  • Driving and implementing BU, division and PG sales processes and guidelines e.g. sales gates and capturing teams, risk review, safe island etc.
  • Ensuring (with HR Business Partner support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Your background

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or science, or Business Administration with an extensive technical background
  • Minimum of 15 years of work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Sales Leadership experience
  • Previous work experience in Middle East or Saudi Arabia required.
  • Experience with High Voltage Products or Substation Business is a must.
  • Leadership and change management experience.
  • Ability to energize and develop the team.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written in English is required.
  • Proficiency in Arabic language is a plus.
