Job Overview

What we are looking for:

  • Do you have a proven track record of success as a CEO or equivalent in the interior design industry (or a closely related field)?
  • Can you demonstrate strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with a history of developing and executing plans that drive sustainable growth?
  • Are you comfortable providing regular reports and updates to the Board of Directors on financial performance, strategic initiatives, and key milestones?
  • Do you have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower diverse teams?
  • Can you foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within a multidisciplinary team (designers, project managers, sales, etc.)?
  • Do you possess a deep understanding of the interior design industry, including market dynamics, current trends, and best practices?
  • Are you passionate about creativity, aesthetics, and design innovation, with a vision to develop solutions that exceed client expectations?
  • Do you have exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills?
  • Can you build strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders at all levels?
  • Are you familiar with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and can ensure the company adheres to them?
  • Do you have the ability to identify new market opportunities, expand the client base, and increase revenue streams through strategic initiatives?
  • Can you effectively monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt strategies accordingly?
  • Do you hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, interior design, architecture, or a related field? An MBA or advanced degree would be a plus.
  • Residency or citizenship in Britain (or a similar market) would be advantageous due to your understanding of the local landscape and regulations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan, in alignment with the vision, mission, and values of the organization, to drive sustainable growth and expansion. 
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including designers, project managers, sales executives, and administrative staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. 
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to enhance the company’s reputation and market presence. 
  • Oversee the development and implementation of innovative design solutions that exceed client expectations and differentiate the company in the marketplace. 
  • Drive business development initiatives to identify new market opportunities, expand the client base, and increase revenue streams through strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and diversification of services. 
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify risks and opportunities, and adapt the company’s strategies accordingly. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and promote a culture of ethical conduct, integrity, and corporate social responsibility throughout the organization. 
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Board of Directors, shareholders, and other stakeholders on the company’s financial performance, strategic initiatives, and key milestones. 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, preferably as CEO or equivalent, within the interior design or related industry. 
  • Preferably British 
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and execute innovative growth strategies that drive sustainable business results. 
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams to achieve ambitious goals and objectives. 
  • Deep knowledge of the interior design industry, including market dynamics, trends, and best practices, with a passion for creativity, aesthetics, and design innovation. 
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, interior design, architecture, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • British citizenship or residency preferred, with a comprehensive understanding of the local market landscape and regulatory environment.
